The Moose Buzzer

Yet another great body material for buzzers

For anyone that ties and fishes with buzzers or chironomids, they've likely tried a variety of body materials. It's always a challenge to find the right mix between realism and yet be able to keep a slender profile. 

If you take a look back over our blog entries for chironomid or buzzer patterns, you'll see that we incorporate holographic tinsel, thread, wire, peacock quill, silicone legs and other materials to achieve this. In this pattern however, the body is a simple barber-poled mix of moose mane and some orange angel hair for highlight.

This pattern is not weighted, but you can very easily incorporate a bead if you wish to get some additional depth.
