We recommend watching the techniques and getting the right tools (i.e. packer, thread, good hair, good razors etc) and you'll find, with practice, you'll be on your way to good deer hair flies.

Good morning. I’ve a long time follower (and Tyler of your flies) that has recently moved to Houston from Calgary and I love to tie flies. As a couple recent orders to your store will attest I’ve purchased materials for this fly, the sneaky Pete, and Mousey mcmouse face to chase bass in local ponds.
ReplyDeleteWhat other flies would you recommend to chase bass and crappie? Both on top and subsurface.
Thanks in advance. Love the site. Keep up the good work.
