Returning to the Scene of the Crime
We have no shame about our love for throwing flies for aggressive cutts that aren't very intelligent. Strawberry Reservoir is such a diverse fishery that you can use a variety of different techniques in different types of water. Right now, we are getting more and more dialed in to fishing shorelines with baitfish patterns. Even though it seems like a new puzzle every time out, at least we have a good foundation of techniques that have worked recently. This video shows two trips combined into one: the first one is from Josh (AKA Kilo J) and I, and the other one is from Curtis and I... Both great trips... Both ended in crazy hailstorms.
Also, the main flies that worked for us in this video were the following:
- Baby Fat Minnow (Learn how to tie it)
- Articulated Trout Slider (Learn how to tie it)
- Rattle Chub (Coming soon)
