Buggy and Super Slim

When it comes to cruising fish that are feeding during a heavy damsel hatch, thin is the name of the game.  Curtis and I were fishing a good damsel hatch this summer, and we watched big fish after big fish come up to our flies only to window shop them and turn away.  We learned the hard way that our flies were probably too thick and they didn't have enough movement.  Singe that trip, I have racked my brain and I've come up with lots of different variations that are anywhere from really complicated to super simple.  This fly is kind of in-between and has just enough buggy properties and a long wiggly tail.  This one is completely weightless, and is designed to be fished near the top of the water column, and it can also be tied in darker olive and tan.  Best of all is that it's just simple enough to crank out several dozen before your next trip!
