Soft Hackle Jig John

Another simple fly for your box

This fly really needs no introduction because it is just a soft hackled copper john tied on a jig hook.  The body is super easy, and the soft "hackle" is actually just sparse squirrel.  Give them a tie and add them to your fish catchers!
